Competition Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions ELT Playbook 1 giveaway, brought to you by Sandy Millin. By taking part in this prize draw you agree to the Terms and Conditions below.

  1. This prize draw is run by Freeed. Acting on behalf of Eduhub Oy, a Finnish company (business ID 2874425-5) having its registered office at Lapinlahdenkatu 16, 00180 Helsinki, Finland.
  2. How to enter: follow the steps listed on the original competition post by Sandy Millin on the twitter account @sandymillin. You need to: 
  • ensure that you create a user account on Freeed in September, or, use an existing account created in September 2019. 
  • add a new article to the ELT community discussion.
  • share the link to your article on Freeed via Twitter using the hashtag #ELTplaybook

In addition…

  1. Conditions of entry: You need to be 18 years of age or over, on the day of entry, for your entry to be counted in this competition. 
  2. Entries using offensive language will not be accepted. 
  3. There will be thirty (30) winners, chosen at random from the entries, who shall each receive one ELT Playbook 1 Ebook to be distributed via smashwords. 
  4. The prize draw opens at 9.00 CET on 16 September 2019 and closes at 23.00 CET on 30 September 2019 (the “Competition Period”).
  5. Winners will be chosen by Freeed at random and announced on 4 October 2019 by Sandy Millin on the twitter account @sandymillin. Prizes will be delivered digitally via smashwords, once all winners have responded and shared an email address for delivery, in November. 
  6. Winners will be notified by Freeed via the Freeed account which they entered the prize draw with. If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of being notified, their prize shall be forfeited and a replacement winning entry will be chosen. 
  7. Only winning entries will be contacted. 
  8. Prize(s) are not transferable and cannot be exchanged by winners for cash or credit or any other product. 
  9. Freeed accepts no liability towards the prizes. They are supplied “as is” with no express guarantee as to their suitability.
  10. Freeed will not sell your personal information to others or release it to others without your prior consent, and will only use your personal data as outlined in these competition terms and Freeed’s privacy policy (
  11. Employees of Freeed, or its associated companies, and employees of any agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw are not eligible to participate. 
  12. Freeed reserves the right to disqualify any entry that it believes, in its sole discretion, to be in breach of these Terms and Conditions. 
  13. Entry into this prize draw constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  14. Freeed’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  15. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland.
